Event/Meeting are used to publish upcoming public meetings, hearings, or community events on the site. Event will be visible in page events/calendar, events, /events/past_events, and on homepage

Smart Date
Sets the date and time for the event, including start and end times, or an all-day option. Use "Repeats every" to make the event recurring (e.g., weekly), with "Ends" controlling when the recurrence stops. Advanced options let you pick specific days of the week for recurring events. "Manage Instances" lets you view or edit individual occurrences of a recurring event.
